It’s September!

For Japanese students, the new school term has begun, which means that summer is officially over.

Japanese summers are hot, humid, and surprisingly long. But  because of  that, summer leaves us with so many vivid and unforgettable memories. There is something a little sentimental about saying goodbye to summer—looking back and thinking, “Wow, that was hot!” while remembering all the fun, laughter, and adventures along the way.

So, let’s take a look back at some of the tours we enjoyed this summer!

We explored Kawagoe’s “Little Edo” and its beautifully preserved historic streets, as well as Shibamata, where visitors can experience a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of Japan in the mid-to-late 20th century. Also summer lantern festival in Kamakura. These tours offered a glimpse into a Japan that feels wonderfully removed from the modern city.

Of course, there were also some of our classic Tokyo experiences: Asakusa and Meiji Jingu, as well as shopping tours taking our guests from the stylish streets of Omotesando and Harajuku to Shibuya.

And then there were day trips beyond Tokyo—heading to Lake Kawaguchi to enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji, and visiting the countryside for the very Japanese summer experience of picking and enjoying fresh fruits. And visited quiet small sea side town beach resorts at Kanagawa Hayama.

Every tour was different, and every guest brought their own story, curiosity, and sense of adventure. For us, these aren’t simply itineraries. They become special memories shared with people from all over the world.

Now, as autumn approaches, another busy travel season is just around the corner.
